ASIC Suspends Prime Value Asset Management’s AFS Licence
ASIC suspended Prime Value Asset Management's AFS licence until 7 August 2026 for failing to lodge 2024–2025 audit and financial reports. Prime Value cannot accept new investors during the suspension but continues managing existing schemes. Investors with concerns should contact Financial Dispute Legal for compensation advice
On 17 July 2026, ASIC announced that it had suspended the Australian financial services licence of Prime Value Asset Management Limited until 7 August 2026.
ASIC stated that the suspension was due to Prime Value failing to lodge required audit and financial reports for the 2024 and 2025 financial years.
ASIC also said Prime Value had previously failed to meet certain financial resource and compliance plan audit requirements for some retail schemes, although those issues have now been rectified.
What the Suspension Means
During the suspension, Prime Value cannot issue interests in its managed investment schemes to new investors.
Prime Value can, however, continue operating and managing its existing schemes where necessary. This includes reinvesting income distributions for existing investors.
Prime Value must also continue to comply with its licence obligations while the suspension is in place.
Prime Value Funds
ASIC stated that Prime Value is the responsible entity for several registered managed investment schemes, including:
- Prime Value Diversified High Income Plus Fund;
- Prime Value Diversified High Income Fund;
- Prime Value Enhanced Income Fund;
- Prime Value Emerging Opportunities Fund;
- Prime Value Microcap Fund;
